If arriving by car children can be dropped off at school from 8.20am via the Kiss and Drop gate in the car park. Kiss and Drop is supervised by school staff from 8.20am.

The junior gate is opened and supervised from 8.25am for children arriving by bike, scooter or walking.  Children can park their bikes in the bike shed. We recommend that bikes are locked during the day, bike helmets should be named and can be stored in the cloakroom. At 8.25am the first bell will go and children can go into their classrooms to get ready for the day ahead.

At 8.35am the bell will go to signal the start of the school day and registration will begin.  Registration will close at 8.43am and children arriving after that time will be marked as late.

If a child arrives at school after registration closes, they will need to enter via the main entrance and sign in via the late book as all gates will be closed at this time.

Persistant lateness will be followed up with parents and carers by the Inclusion and Well Being Manager and where necessary will be referred to the Schools Attendance Service.

Arriving on time for school ensures children make the most of all the available learning time.

Registration is part of the school day and as such is important learning time.

5 minutes late everyday equates to 16.25 hours a year which equates to over 3 days of lost learning time!
