PTA

Good news! As a member of our school community you are automatically a member of our PTA.

We are very lucky to have an active and well supported PTA but ultimately our success is down to the support of our families. 

The PTA is a group of parents and teachers who meet every couple of months to plan fundraising activities to benefit the children and their education.  We have an elected committee which currently includes a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.  Committee members attend all meetings and are responsible for the smooth running of all fund raising events. 

However, all parents are members, can come along to meetings, get involved in events and contribute their time or expertise, helping out as much or as little as they can.  We are always looking for with new ideas!

All the money we raise gets put back into the school for the benefit of all our children and the staff.  Over the years the PTA have purchased iPad’s, camera equipment and sports kits.  We supported the school in their Sea Swimming programme by purchasing wetsuits and sea shoes for the children.

Please note that even if you don’t want to commit to joining the PTA committee or attend meetings, there are plenty of opportunities to help out in school.  Parents often help with reading, maths passport testing, sea swimming and trips.  Even if you can spare only 30 minutes a week – it can be a great help!
