Cooking
We have done lots of cooking this term. We made pancakes on Pancake Day! We had them with lemon and sugar. We read the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and made yummy porridge. We also read the story of The Gingerbread Man and made gingerbread.
Outdoor Learning
Every Friday we do 'Outdoor Learning' in the afternoon. We have made dens, painted with natural objects and been on a Nature Walk.
PE
This half term we have used the big apparatus. We have focused on different ways of travelling, jumping and balancing! We have had lots of fun!
World Book Day
We all enjoyed coming to school in or pyjamas on World Book Day! We read lots of different stories and shared our favourite book with our friends.
Hopes and Dreams
We wrote our hopes and dreams on a feather and added them to the wings. Some of us want to go to Disneyland Paris, become a Police Officer or learn to swim.
Judo Taster Day
We had lots of fun trying out Judo! Some of us now want to try a class!
Visitors to School
We have had two visitors to school this term.
The Police came to talk to us about what they do and which number we should call if we need them.
Dr Brown came to talk to us about being a doctor and what it is like living in Australia.
Whole School Art Day
We learnt about hot (red, yellow, orange) and cold (blue, purple, green) colours. We took our pen for a walk on the page and then painted in between the lines with hot or cold colours.
